...been a long time since I wrote on here! An incedibly busy few months have certainly kept me on my toes, having done over 300 shows, workshops, clinics and keynote talks in over 20 countries over the last year alone is what I'm using as an excuse for now! :)

Over the coming weeks I'll be playing a number of Cybadrummer shows, the next being at SophFest on 22 July '17 near Oxford (I'll also be MC'ing the stage that evening).

That gig is followed by a return to the Royal Conrwall Showgrounds to perform at CF17, first time back there in 4 years for the festival's big 15 year anniversary celebrations! Really excited to be catching up with a few good friends in a number of bands at the festival. Cybadrummer will be performing on main stage Saturday 5th August, but also doing paint drum performances later that week and a percussion workshop on Friday 11th August.

A whole new set has been prepared for the summer gigs with some new collabs and fun. Can't wait to see you all on the road over the coming months!

We're well into December now, hard to understand where time has flown too!

Still a few gigs left to perform in 2015, a few private and corporately booked Cybadrummer appearances.

Also preparation is underway for the Stixmen collaboration between myself, drummers Paul Glover and Matt Green. This is an exciting drum clinic'ing/performance venture which we're escalating in 2016 - visit www.stixmen.com for further details.

Ongoing collabrations with a number of other great artists will also continue into the New Year and beyond.

There are still booking opportunities and openings for Dec15, so if you need me to come 'hit stuff' at your event or location, don't hesiate to get in touch. :)

It's been a non-stop year so far especially on the drum workshop front with a few good shows in between and also enjoying some flying exploits. Hard to believe the first (cold) quarter of the year will have passed in just over a month!

My booking agents have been taking bookings for the summer, as they do, which include some festivals, micro tours, drum clinics and collaborations with some great artists, all exciting stuff! There is still availability for dates as I write, so give us a shout via the contact page if you'd like to book a 'Cyba' live performance or drum masterclass/workshop etc.

I've been working on whole new album and live set for the summer, changing direction a little, but still keeping it electronic with some crossover into a variety of genres. We'll be making all official announcements relating to this release and gigs in the upcoming weeks.

drumBEAT 2014 is an event that will see 1001 drummers (yes that’s right, 1001 drummers!) gather together in a very large space to play together, in time with each other, for five minutes to beat the Guinness world record for the ‘largest full drum kit ensemble’. The current record stands at 798 drummers which was set in 2012. With your help we can smash that record and, in the process, raise a lot of money for a very worthy cause.

Dedicated to the memory of Kate Fenney, co-founder of the Music Shipping Company who recently lost her 17 month battle with a brain tumour; Eleri McBay, wife of Kip McBay the founder of Guitar Guitar who died of a brain tumour earlier this year; and Jon Brookes, drummer with the Charlatans, who died suddenly last year after suffering a brain tumour, drumBEAT 2014 expects to raise well in excess of £125,000.00 which will go to the Brain Tumour Charity.

Please support this worthy cause by registering now at www.drumbeatuk.org now. I'll be there with my kit, hope to see you there to for this mighty jam!

27 JUNE 2014

A few more songs completed in the studio which'll be sent off to be mastered soon. Much of the new material I've been writting has been in a new direction to my previous releases, so really looking forward to getting out there!

Have also been involved in some great live performance collaborations over the past few months with a number of artists ranging from instrumentalists, vocalists and percussionists.

Just returned from a good performance run of Portugal, Spain, Norway and Greece over the past few days. Info for a US tour this year will be added here once dates and venues are set

Been a while since last update! There's been loads of travelling to present workshops and gigging around the globe insome exotic places! Thankful to have these opportunities, enjoying it to the full.

Currently writing some new material, expanding into new musical directions for the IHS shows, but loads of fun and I hope you'll enjoy it upon release.

Silversain also been quiet on the gig front recently to allow time for writing and with plenty other gigs taking place at the moment for both of us, but it allows us to reposition nicely for the next move. :)

20 DEC 2013

Still a few gigs and workshops to go until the close of the year. I'll be performing and leading some hand drumming workshops at The Little Welly Christmas Festival from the 21st - 23rd December. Pop by the tent to say hello if you're in the area (Wellington Country Park in Riseley).

29 OCT 2013

Checkout the UK Drum Fair website, they're putting on a summer school next year for drummers in the Birmingham area!

I'm currently booked on loads of gigs for November and December this year, however 2 shows that I'm looking forward to are the Alive Music Studio Bar gig with Silversain on the 29th November as well as the MK11 venue on the 6th December also with Silversain (close to home). Tickets are now available, visit the Shows page for direct links.

16 SEPT 2013 - UK National Drum Fair

I'm delighted to be performing/clinic'ing at the UK National Drum Fair on the 28th September in Birmingham. Fellow muso Taylor Jackson from Silversain will be joining me for a demo as well as other special guests. VIsit the official website for details.
